Since 2003, Becky has lead a committee for the Colorado Tree Coalition (coloradotrees.org) to create and produce a yearly Notable Trees of Colorado Calendar. This calendar highlights notable and champion trees throughout Colorado in addition to providing information on trees and their care. Mountain High has also been a key financial sponsor of the calendar for several years. Learn more: www.coloradotrees.org

In partnership with the City of Colorado Springs and the Horticultural Art Society, Mountain High has adopted and provides maintenance and care for the Heritage Garden American Elm, a notable tree in Monument Valley Park.
Mountain High also donated time and expertise to prune, water and protect the historic Lowell School maple in the critical years during and after urban renewal of the site.

Mountain High staff partnered with the City of Colorado Springs Fire Department on a public information video and a demonstration site about proper fire mitigation in the Colorado Springs interface.
