Natural Control Options
How can we help you with your tree & shrub needs?
The need to reduce pesticide use in our environment increases every day. Reducing pesticide use helps to maintain water quality, air quality and reduces direct exposure to people and animals. There are times when pesticides become the best treatment option, but we are continually searching for and developing better and safer natural control options.
Our goal within a Natural Program is to establish a balance between the damaging pest and the various beneficial insects. Using a variety of control strategies, this balance is achieved. Horticultural oil, nutrient applications, insect traps and releasing beneficial insects are among the most common treatments that fit into the Natural program.
Natural control options are a wonderful and environmentally friendly option for many situations, but effectiveness against some pests is limited. It is very important to meet with a qualified Arborist who can help you develop a program that will work for you.
